TRANSCRIPT:BARAHA Satellite Office ■ R4A02-Adjustment

[18] 00/00/00 ▶ Dael [BARAHA-EVALUATOR] :
So let's start over, Okay? How have you been adjusting?

(Long pause. Rafie reclines)

[19] 00/00/00 ▶ Rafie [23-105-07] :
Tch... No, You're right.

(Rafie stares at the clipboard on the table for nearly a minute, thinking.)

[20] 00/00/00 ▶ Rafie [23-105-07] :
I think I'm functional, if that's what you're asking.

[21] 00/00/00 ▶ Rafie [23-105-07] :
I did what I was told. Stayed put and took the meds y--

(Pause.)

[22] 00/00/00 ▶ Rafie [23-105-07] :
Sorry.

[23] 00/00/00 ▶ Dael [BARAHA-EVALUATOR] :
It's okay, go on. What about after you were released?

[24] 00/00/00 ▶ Rafie [23-105-07] :
(Rolls eyes) Status quo.

[25] 00/00/00 ▶ Dael [BARAHA-EVALUATOR] :
'status quo?'

[26] 00/00/00 ▶ Rafie [23-105-07] :
Okay. I think my idea of status quo is a little skewed. before and after.

[27] 00/00/00 ▶ Rafie [23-105-07] :
I had to get out of my old place... I'm sure you know why. Ended up in a housing program with this tiny, crappy square room, but it was something I could survive in.

[28] 00/00/00 ▶ Rafie [23-105-07] :
The dust and paperwork eventually settled enough for me to get back to uni.

(Rafie exhales through nose. Short pause.)

[29] 00/00/00 ▶ Rafie [23-105-07] :
So yeah. I "Adjusted". Considering the statistics...

[30] 00/00/00 ▶ Dael [BARAHA-EVALUATOR] :
(Grimacing) So you saw that report.

[31] 00/00/00 ▶ Dael [BARAHA-EVALUATOR] :
What happened to others in your situation... it's not encouraging. which is why I'm glad you agreed to a more extensive check-in.

(Dael takes a sip from his mug.)

[32] 00/00/00 ▶ Dael [BARAHA-EVALUATOR] :
Going back to school, tell me about that.

[33] 00/00/00 ▶ Rafie [23-105-07] :
(Scoffs) I mean... it's uni.

[34] 00/00/00 ▶ Rafie [23-105-07] :
You want the TLDR or the whole thing?

[35] 00/00/00 ▶ Dael [BARAHA-EVALUATOR] :
Whatever you're comfortable with.

[36] 00/00/00 ▶ Rafie [23-105-07] :
Well, it sucks. It felt scarier at first than the shit we just got out of. Which is absurd, really, considering I apparently spent three years living with-- (Gestures) Yeah.

[37] 00/00/00 ▶ Rafie [23-105-07] :
I think I just needed to get it together. (Crosses arms) Never thought routine would feel... comfy.

[38] 00/00/00 ▶ Rafie [23-105-07] :
Like, for once I had something I had control over.

(Dael Lifts clipboard back up. Writing.)

[39] 00/00/00 ▶ Dael [BARAHA-EVALUATOR] :
Okay. Routine and structure seem to have helped.

[40] 00/00/00 ▶ Dael [BARAHA-EVALUATOR] :
Mm, (Taps on clipboard) It says here you tended to keep to yourself. Has that changed at all?

(Rafie shifts in their chair)

[41] 00/00/00 ▶ Rafie [23-105-07] :
Right, yeah. Okay.
